Hardy Perfect Trout Reel 2 7/8"A very nice 2 7 8" Hardy Perfect with Duplicated MKII check. The agate line guide is unblemished with no cracks. Full length and unaltered smooth brass foot. The ebonite handle spins freely. The rim tensioner works perfectly throughout its spring adjustment range. No cracks or corrosion, just a little minor cosmetic wear that you'd expect from a reel of this vintage. A very nice example of this classic.

This rod was built using Wright McGill ferrules and reel seat hardware to complete a great all around 4wt
