This is a extremely nice quality 19th century open armchair

The shape to the arms gives these chairs a real elegance and the bold back design finishes them off perfectly

The Rosewood has incredible figuring and the fact is it solid timber throughout is a rare thing indeed

In nice original condition with patina and wear that adds so much to it

These examples are mixed media on paper in pale pinks and blues

It has later white paint that suits the chairs but we can ebonise or colour lacquer this for a small additional charge

The frame gives a real elegance to the chairs and the waisted sides only add to this

Amazing colour not done justice in the photos and the contrast to the mahogany is fabulous

This is a wonderful designed Edwardian armchair with small wings and tall tapered legs
