The saint we believe is Saint Nicholas and is complete with his crook. The patina this piece has is incredible and shows the pieces true age. Whats interesting about this carving is it actually has carved details on its back which would suggest it could be seem from all angles. The overall condition as you would expect with a piece as early as this is worn
The design is stunning and its simplicity makes it suitable for a huge number of interiors
This is a very pretty subtle colours landscape oil on board
Their tribal works are very rare to come across and are a form of artwork in their own right
